1. Publicize with fliers around school and throughout town. Distribute in middle schools and elementary schools, churches and synagogues.
2. Recruit riders, teams and get sponsorships.
3. Man registration booth.
4. Set up at school to get participants and donations.
5. Volunteer services day of event
JUSTIN'S WISH CAR WASH:
1. Pick a date
2. Communicate with school officials to plan event
3. Purchase supplies
4. Create sign-up sheet
5. Promote in local paper and stores and on local websites
JUSTIN'S WISH BAKE SALE OR CHOCOLATE BAR SALE
Sell goods at school cafeterias, sports events, and around community.
JUSTIN'S WISH TOY DRIVE
Organize to collect new toys, books and DVDs to be given to hospitals (no stuffed animals) Plan around various holidays, not just in December.
DONATE BIRTHDAY GIFTS AND BAR/BAT MITZVAH MONEY TO JUSTIN'S WISH.

3. Get Involved
If you don't live close to one of our events that are already scheduled but would like to help out in some way. Here are a few ideas on how to host an event of your own. We can help you get started to make sure your event goes flawlessly.

Justin's Wish School Club:
1. Secure permission from school and determine Administrator/Teacher Advisor to act as liaison from school for Justin's Wish.
2. Recruit team of students with clear set mandatory participation requirements.
3. Determine club officers: Pres., Vice Pres., Treasurer, Secretary.
4. Implement schedule of monthly meetings or more depending on events ongoing.
5. Hold brainstorming meetings to discuss budget, fundraising ideas, how to expand community participation, how to publicize events.
6. Determine club member participation and chairpersons before, during and after events according to each specific event with committees (publicity, set up, registration, break down, food, etc).
7. Appoint a volunteer to act as liaison to Justin's Wish. This person would seek guidance as needed as well as express student perspective.
8. Hold informational meetings to recruit new members and encourage school involvement.
9. Determine clear goals for each event/activity with check list.
10. Develop a master guidebook with detailed information on each event and how it was run, how much money raised, etc. Include all paperwork, fliers, list of contacts, dates, timing.
